Illawarra Dermatology + Laser Clinic recommends the Australian made Synergie Practitioner range of skin care products. You can buy Synergie products here.
As of July this year, the Synergie website is the only place to purchase Synergie products. To ensure you get great customer service, discuss the range and have in-house treatments with Synergie products, bonus treatments will be available with recommended practitioners, of which we are one.
We are looking forward to an even stronger relationship with this great Australian-made brand.
Excitement mounts here at ID+LC, as we have acquired the new state-of-the-art facial laser: Sciton’s Halo.
Halo precisely targets skin damage and visible signs of ageing. It is suited to treat discolouration (red spots or age spots), sun damage, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, enlarged pores and poor skin texture.
Halo lasers use a hybrid fractional laser technology, which means two lasers are working simultaneously in the one treatment. They work on both the upper and lower levels of the skin. For you this means reducing the number of treatments and faster healing times. These lasers also trigger the skin’s natural healing response which translates into minimal downtime for you, less pain than you’d get from older lasers, and a shorter recovery time. You can wear makeup the day after your treatment!
Our nurses here at ID+LC have received additional training in this new technology and are giving glowing reports!

Looking for some Clarity?
Looking for some Clarity?
We’re excited to offer an amazing new treatment in conjunction with Synergie: the Clarity treatment!
The Clarity is a deep cleansing treatment specifically designed for congested, acneic and dull skin. It works by using exfoliation to improve your skin’s texture, and gentle extractions to remove impurities. An application of the purifying mineral Zeolite Mineral, soothing Vitamin B and green tea extract helps to restore your skin’s hydration and immune function. It’s topped off with a soothing application of zinc oxide to aid healing and protect your skin from damaging UV exposure.
For a truly fantastic result, combine the Clarity treatment with our Laser Facial for reduced redness and improved skin tone and texture.
The Clarity treatment on its own is $80, and you should allow approximately 40 minutes for each treatment. Save 20% when you pre-purchase a series of 4 treatments.
During June and July we’re also offering a special introductory offer for the combined Clarity and Laser facial treatments at the special price of $180. With an individual Clarity treatment priced at $80 and a Laser facial at $150, that’s a saving of fifty dollars! Looking for Clarity? You just found it! The Clarity product pre-purchase discount and VIP discount cannot be used with this combination offer.
Call us on 4226 3088 to make an appointment and claim this fantastic offer.
Please be advised that Dr. Robert Salmon is not accepting any new patients due to his very long waiting list.
Please be advised that as of Monday 1st August 2016 the following item numbers will be increased as follows:
Item number 104 initial consult will be $235 with a Medicare rebate of $72.75. Item number 105, subsequent consult will be $140 with a Medicare rebate of $36.55. Some of our doctors discount these fees for pensioners. The pensioner rates are $170 and $140 respectively.
The Medicare rebate remains unchanged. We have not increased our fees for over 2 years and are doing so in order to provide our hard working staff with a salary increase. Many of the other expenses of running a medical practice business have continued to increase during that time.
All surgical and treatment fees will remain unchanged at this time but will be reviewed in November when the AMA publishes it’s member’s fee recommendations.
Private health funds do not provide any rebates for consultations with a medical doctor.
Please also be aware that Medicare will no longer send cheques for claims. You must register your bank account details with Medicare to receive your rebate as of 1st July 2016.
