Visible Capillaries & Redness
Facial flushing and burning is a common condition, especially among those of us with fair skin, and it often causes sufferers to feel self-conscious in social settings for fear of a flare-up making their face unexpectedly turn red.
This condition is usually due to tiny broken capillaries just below the skin’s surface and is sometimes triggered by external factors such as alcohol, spicy food, or hot weather.
This problem is usually passed down in families, although sun damage can make it worse. Other related conditions, such as Rosacea, also cause facial flushing and similar treatments are available.
